History

Foresight Technologies was founded in 1995 and has grown every year. It has expanded from a 6,000sf facility in 1995, to 22,000sf in 1997, 50,000sf in 2006 and opened another 24,000sf facility in 2008.

 

  • 1997 – Focus on developing superior machining processes results in achieving leading non-metallic capabilities.
  • 1998 – Conversion to fully integrated shop floor planning and ERP system to manage growth in contract manufacturing.
  • 2001 – Conversion to higher efficiency Horizontal Machining Centers for complex metal machining work to meet future customers requirements for cost reduction.
  • 2002 – Acquisition of Sientec, a specialty provider of Chemical Mechanical Planarization pad processing services of industry leaders.
  • 2003 – Acquisition of Sage Technologies Corporation, a leading design and manufacturer of wet processing equipment for over a decade.
  • 2006 – Completed upgrade and move to new production facilities, laid out to achieve highly efficient production of assemblies, from small subsystems all the way to 100 foot long, fully automated systems.
  • 2008 – Selected for design, build & support SEMI/CE certified chemical distribution system for one of the leading semiconductor equipment OEM product.
  • 2008 – Added second 24,000sf facility in Phoenix, AZ dedicated to fixed Process large volume, low cost CNC metal machining.
  • 2010 – Acquisition of ATMI’s Chemical Distribution product lines including CuSuites plating and chemical handling systems and the patented CMPlicity slurry and chemical mixing technology for enhancing CMP productivity.
